Jamie Lidell - Figured Me Out
Electronica producer Jamie Lidell’s music is classed as “Neo-Soul”. I don’t know what this is but his most recent album Jim is definitely packed with soul and is as funky as hell. Some of the tracks from the album sound like they are straight up 60’s southern soul music. We need more artists like this to distract us from too much electro music and sub-par forgetful pop.
